Mother and son killed in DUI accident
Drunk drivers 4Runner that slammed into a stopped Honda Accord, killing both occupants.
Sacramento, CA | A drunk driver hit and killed a woman and her son early Sunday morning.
At 4:28 Sunday morning, CHP responded to a report of an accident on Stockton Blvd. at Orange Ave. Per CHP, 22-year-old Xieng Her, driving a Toyota 4Runner, slammed into the back of a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed, killing both occupants of the Accord.
Nancy Naranjo, 23, and her 9 month old son Joshua, appropriately restrained, appeared to be killed instantly when their vehicle was hit with such force that it shoved the stopped vehicle more than 200 feet through the intersection.
Her was charged with two counts of vehicular manslaughter and DUI. Other chargeable may be pending.
Stockton Boulevard remained closed till about 8 a.m.
