Sacramento, CA | Unseasonal weather would be the understated term of the day for the Sacramento region.

Unpredictable and wild weather marked the charts in the Sacramento and surrounding regions today. Storm spotters all over the region were reporting nickel and dime size hail, intense thunder storms with heavy downpours and at least two unconfirmed tornados were reported by trained Skywarn storm spotters, which are the volunteer eyes and ear force for the National Weather Service.

As the many thunder cells swept through the region, Skywarn Spotters could be heard over the HAM radio system calling in intense downpours of hail, rain and wind. Many of the reports came from spotters in Carmichael, Roseville, Rancho Cordova and more.

Below is a panoramic interactive that was shot during the first tornado warning issued today by the National Weather Service and is a perspective of the north, east and south-east areas from downtown Sacramento.
