Sunday afternoon a fire broke out in a mobile home on Dias Ave in the Parkway-South area of Sacramento. Neighbors stated that firefighters were there fast and quickly contained the blaze. Read more »

Sacramento, CA | Smoke and flames billowed from a vacant home in Oak Park Sunday afternoon.
A structure fire occurred late Sunday morning in Oak Park. Engine six arrived first on scene and got a rapid knock down on the blaze.
Per Battalion Chief Jonathan Williams, the house was vacant and squatters were the apparent cause of the fire. Neighbors stated that they saw people in the house just a few minutes before fire fighters arrived. No one was injured in the incident and it was handled with a single alarm response.

Marijuana distributor busted in Oak Park
Sacramento, CA | Officers observe two subjects in Oak Park vacant home packaging marijuana for distribution.
This was our early, breaking information Saturday evening as this incident was occurring; we were on scene:
“[unconfirmed]: SacPD is taking down a marijuana operation in OakPark. One is in custody and the other is in the house, possibly with a loaded Mini-14. Streets in the surrounding area are shut down. Read more »

Firefighters and California Highway Patrol officers were called to the Azure Park Apartments on Sky Parkway Wednesday evening in South Sacramento for a vehicle into a structure. When they arrived they found a vehicle that had crashed into a bedroom where a child had just been. Read more »

South Sacramento, CA | South Sacramento man allegedly shot while out for a jog by his neighbor.
Per Sgt. Norm Leong, Sacramento Police Department, the victim was out for a jog around the neighborhood when the alleged suspect came out from his home and fired a weapon striking the victim in the hip. Leong indicated that there was an ongoing feud between the neighbors. Read more »

Sacramento, CA, Police call takers received confusing information about a subject with a gun in the AMPM.
[UNCONFIRMED] Sunday evening police call takers received reports of a person waving a gun around at the AMPM on J Street and 29th Street. According to radio communications from dispatchers, the reports coming in were confusing and conflicting. When officers arrived they began to take one subject into custody. The subject resisted initially but was taken into custody without incident [observed]

[Oak Park] Sacramento, CA | Firefighters make a quick knockdown on a house fire.
Firefighters responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 3900 Block of 42nd Ave. Sunday evening.
According to communications, light smoke was coming from the eves and a little flame. Firefighters knocked the small fire out quickly. A fire investigator was called to the scene.
