Flames rip through a mobile home as firefighters locate the body of the occupant

North Highlands, CA | Firefighters attempted a rescue when they arrived to find a motor home fully involved with fire.

Thursday morning Sacramento Police Officers were alerted to a robbery at gunpoint in progress at the GameStop on Northgate Blvd.

Oak Park CA | Several subjects caught in the act at McClatchy Park, more drugs and a gun off the streets.

Uniformed officers detained several subjects at McClatchy Park Wednesday afternoon according to Sgt. Andrew Pettit, SacPD. As officers were patrolling the area, they witnessed an apparent drug deal in progress and one person dropping a gun. Read more »

SMUD reporting over 5000 customers without power after CHP crane pursuit

Sacramento, CA | CHP and Sacramento Sheriff’s deputies chase a crane knocking out power poles and lines down Jackson Highway.

Early Thursday morning CHP and Sacramento Sheriff Deputies chased a large crane east on Jackson Highway. The suspect driving the crane knocked down several power poles on Jackson Highway from Grantline to Dillard, then at least two poles on Dillard before he was stopped and taken into custody.
