A large fire broke out in a field, Saturday, July 14, 2012, north-east of Downtown Sacramento in Rio Linda. When fire crews arrived, nearly ten acres had already been consumed and was making a run, crossing one creek and headed toward the next. Firefighters made a stand at the road and held the fire there.
