Downtown collision leaves one injured

Two lives intersected as a man driving a blue truck southbound on 11th Street ran a stop sign and collided with a woman driving a black sedan westbound on S Street in midtown Thursday evening.
A neighborhood resident said through his front door he saw the blue van, tipped on its side, sliding on the road.
The front of the sedan sustained major damage. A police officer at the scene said her airbag deployed and she was ok.
The truck driver was transported to the hospital with unspecified minor injuries.
No pedestrians were involved.
