A section of pavement sinks as water floods the street
Sacramento, CA | Water gushing from beneath the street floods downtown area Thursday afternoon.
According to a resident of the effected street, water came up and onto the street from under the pavement for about an hour Thursday afternoon. The pavement where the water was coming from looked displaced, and sunken. Read more »

Sacramento, CA | The driver of a truck turning right onto Starfire Rd off Folsom said the railroad crossing arms had just started to come down as he crossed the tracks and was hit by a RT train.
The driver and his passenger were not injured in the collision that occurred around 10:15 am this morning.
One person on the light rail train was treated for minor injuries and transported to a hospital by Sacramento Metro Fire.
The Ford pickup truck sustained major front-end damage and was towed. The train had moved on and was not at the scene when the pickup was towed.
An investigation is underway.
