Waco Fertilizer Plant Explodes

Reports and images were pouring in with reports of a massive explosion that occurred, reportedly at a fertilizer plant just outside Waco, TX. Unconfirmed reports came in stating all available EMS crews were being requested to respond. Reports also stated that the explosion was felt from over 60 miles away and was originally thought to be an earthquake. Our live blog was aggregating reports and images as they came in. Read more »

BREAKING- Explosions hit Boston Marathon, several injured

We are pulling in numerous reports and photos live now as EMS, Fire and Police aid victims and control an explosive situation at the Boston Marathon.

Reports we have received thus far is that two explosions have occurred at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Early reports and various sources say there has been at least two fatalities. Tweeted photos from the scene show lots of blood over a large area and debris.

Hostage is up, suspect is down

A Jack in the Box robbery gone bad turns into a hostage situation leaving two hostages and one gunman in the restaurant Saturday afternoon.

Empire State Building Workplace Shooting

New York | Police: A workplace shooting has taken place this morning at the Empire State Building in New York.

A workplace shooting has occurred at the Empire State Building this morning. FBI states not act of terrorism.

Senator Malcom Smith states suspect was fired yesterday, came back and shot manager this morning and came out on street shooting wildly.

At least 8 people shot, two dead including gunman (shot and killed by NYPD). Children’s field trips were in the area per ABC7. Press conference with NY Mayor pending.

CAL FIRE Issues Statewide Burn Ban

Sacramento – California’s increased fire activity, coupled with the current weather forecast for continued heightened fire danger, has prompted CAL FIRE to suspend all burning permits and open fire within the State Responsibility Area of California. The Burn Ban suspends all residential burn permits, forest management, hazard abatement, and other industrial-type permitted burning within the 31 million acres of State Responsibility Area. Early Saturday morning, a vehicle traveling south on highway 99 from Florin was traveling at a slow rate of speed and straddling the slow lane and shoulder at approx 65MPH according to CHP. Read more »

Flames rip through a mobile home as firefighters locate the body of the occupant

Sac Metro Firghfighters were called to a mobile home fire just before 7:30 Saturday morning. In route  firefighters could see a large column of smoke rising from the area and early reports came in that someone could have been inside Battalion Chief Ellis, Sac Metro Fire, stated. Read more »

SMUD reporting over 5000 customers without power after CHP crane pursuit

Sacramento, CA | CHP and Sacramento Sheriff’s deputies chase a crane knocking out power poles and lines down Jackson Highway.

Early Thursday morning CHP and Sacramento Sheriff Deputies chased a large crane east on Jackson Highway. The suspect driving the crane knocked down several power poles on Jackson Highway from Grantline to Dillard, then at least two poles on Dillard before he was stopped and taken into custody. Elk Grove, CA | An, at risk, 15 year old girl is missing in the Elk Grove area. Search teams have been deployed. Inclement weather and medical conditions are major concerns.

A 15 year old girl, with medical issues, is missing in the Elk Grove area. She has been missing since Friday evening. Cosumnes Fire, Elk Grove PD and CERT have deployed search teams to the Hood area conducting a house to house search for the girl. Read more »
