Vehicle crashes into home trapping two in the car who were extricated and transported to the hospital.
Sacramento, CA | A vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a home on Sutterville Road early Saturday morning.
Early Saturday morning, a SacCityFire Medic unit was responding to a “medical aid” call according to Jonathan Williams, battalion Chief. When the medic unit arrived they found a vehicle into a residential structure with two people trapped. Read more »

Sacramento, CA | Unseasonal weather would be the understated term of the day for the Sacramento region.
Unpredictable and wild weather marked the charts in the Sacramento and surrounding regions today. Storm spotters all over the region were reporting nickel and dime size hail, intense thunder storms with heavy downpours and at least two unconfirmed tornados were reported by trained Skywarn storm spotters, which are the volunteer eyes and ear force for the National Weather Service. Sacramento, CA | A drunk driver with passengers collides head-on with a Taxi minivan leaving several injured in Midtown early Thursday morning.
At approximately 1:47 am Thursday morning, a black compact car collided head on with a taxi cab minivan at 20th and N Streets in Midtown. Occupants in both vehicles were injured and transported to area hospitals with non threatening injuries, per Sacramento Police department. Read more »

Early Thursday morning, a South Sacramento man arrives at his 7th Avenue home to find it on fire and calls 9-1-1.
The home is located almost around the corner from fire station 6 on Martin Luther King Blvd which houses Engine 6 (carries water), Truck 6 (carries tools and ladders, no water) and Medic 6. Read more »

Sacramento, CA | Thursday evening, aproximately 6:15pm, Sacramento Firefighters were called to a home in the 4700 block of Brookfield Drive in South Sacramento for a house fire. When firefighters arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the back of the home.
Though the cause of the fire is under investigation, Chief Williams of the Sacramento Fire Department stated that it appears the fire began in a shed in the back yard. The fire did create a burn pattern on the back of the residence, burned up into the eves and part of the roof.
Due to the shake shingle style roof, firefighters had to “strip” the roof and “drop the ceilings” Williams said. Williams stated that it is a long and labor intensive process, however very necessary as embers from the blaze can get under the shake shingles and cause the home to catch fire again during the night.
