SacPD officers make a felony stop in OakPark of a vehicle matching the description of a wanted vehicle.

House fires, another fiery vehicle crash, felony stop and more action news for this last Thursday of February, 2013.

Officers hold possible armed parolee at gunpoint after 30 minute pursuit.

Sacramento, CA | SacPD and assisting agencies take a 30 minute high-speed tour of Sacramento chasing a parolee at large (PAL).

Early Saturday morning, Sacramento Police Department officers engaged a pursuit with a known parolee at large assumed to be armed and dangerous. The pursuit lasted about thirty minutes according to Lieutenant Brown, SacPD, and involved California Highway Patrol officers and Sacramento Sheriff deputies in addition to their own units. Sac City Firefighters extinguish occupied burning vehicle after early morning rollover accident

Sacramento, CA | The solo occupant of a vehicle was killed early Saturday morning when his car crashed and burst into flames.

Early Saturday morning, a vehicle traveling south on highway 99 from Florin was traveling at a slow rate of speed and straddling the slow lane and shoulder at approx 65MPH according to CHP. Read more »

Mounted police in riot gear move toward the Sacramento Capital Building

A mounted police task-force moved from the “barn” near Broadway and 3rd St, down Capitol Mall toward the Capital building Monday morning as large numbers of protesters marched from Southside Park, to Capitol Mall, then Capitol Mall to the West side of the Capital building. Read more »
