++The Sacramento Police Department will be conducting a sobriety and driver license checkpoint on Saturday, March 15, 2014, on Del Paso Blvd near El Camino Ave. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. and run for 5 to 7 hours. Officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment with officers checking drivers for proper licensing; delaying motorists only momentarily. When possible, specially trained officers will be available to evaluate those suspected of drug-impaired driving. (more…)

When firefighters arrived they found two vehicles up in the planter of the new residential building on the southeast corner of the intersection; one vehicle was on fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. (more…)

Police investigate the scene of a three car accident involving an alleged DUI subject where an innocent pedestrian was killed.

Roseville, CA | Minding his own business, out for a walk, a Roseville pedestrian is killed by an alleged intoxicated and reckless driver.

Roseville police responded to a call of a reckless driver around 8 pm Tuesday evening, according to Roseville Police Department.

ABC agents and SacPD DUI Enforcement made several busts Friday in sting operation.

Sacramento, CA | Several people busted in Sacramento Friday for purchasing alcohol for minors.

As part of a state-wide operation, agents from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) with Sacramento Police Department DUI Enforcement Officers ran sting operations throughout the day.

Several teams were in the field utilizing actual under-aged decoys who would approach individuals entering a liquor store or market, disclosed their age and asked the persons to purchase alcohol for them.  (more…)

Tera Lee Nicholson, 41, of Folsom was arrested on scene for alleged DUI and causing major injury.

Folsom, CA | When a vehicle plowed into the patio section of well known Folsom night spot early Tuesday morning, five people were injured and the driver arrested.

Allegedly driving under the influence, Tera Lee Nicholson, 41, of Folsom was arrested on scene at Folsom Lake Bowl Sports Bar & Casino located at 511 East Bidwell Street. (more…)

Sacramento, CA | An alleged drunk driver crashed into an occupied taxi cab early Saturday morning in Downtown Sacramento, next to City Hall.

Early Saturday morning, at the intersection of I St. and 10th St., a drunk driver crashed into an occupied taxi cab.

Two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition, a third was transported with minor injures. (more…)

A fatal Car Wreck on Folsom Blvd.

Sacramento, CA  | One person is dead an another is in the hospital after a
vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree on Folsom Boulevard near Wissemann Dr early Saturday morning.
The female passenger of the vehicle awoke while being transported to an nearby medical center complaining of chest and back pain.  She was recieving a ride home due to being intoxicated. (more…)

Sacramento, CA | A drunk driver hit and killed a woman and her son early Sunday morning.

At 4:28 Sunday morning, CHP responded to a report of an accident on Stockton Blvd. at Orange Ave. Per CHP, 22-year-old Xieng Her, driving a Toyota 4Runner, slammed into the back of a Honda Accord at a high rate of speed, killing both occupants of the Accord. (more…)
