When officers arrived they found a woman in her 50′s had been shot in the chest. She was transported to UC Davis Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Nasca said.  (more…)

20140201_191043_LLSSacramento police officers were trying to piece together the details of a double shooting incident that occurred Saturday evening in the Shining Star area of South Sacramento.

Just before 6:30 p.m. Saturday evening, Sacramento police officers and firefighters responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of La Fresa Court. According to unofficial paramedic radio traffic, one victim sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and a second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the upper leg. (more…)

On Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at approximately 1:06 p.m., officers responded to a report of an armed robbery to a pharmacy located in the 7600 block of Hospital Drive.

The shooting occurred at the Capitol Manor Apartments at 1701 17th Street in the Midtown area of Sacramento. The call came in around 3 a.m. Tuesday as a disturbance said Officer Michelle Gigante, PIO for the Sacramento Police Department.

“Officers arrived on scene and contacted three people,” Gigante said, “one who was possibly shot.” (more…)

An Arden cellular retail store has been robbed at gunpoint, employees forced into a back room.

An armed suspect, described as a male Hispanic wearing a white hard hat and white t-shirt robbed the at&t Parrot store at gunpoint late Tuesday morning and forced the employees into a back room while he stole several cellular devices. (more…)

A quiet, sleeping apartment complex in Natomas was awakened to gunfire early Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Bankside Way.

“At approximately 2:18 this morning, the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in an apartment complex at 500 Bankside Way,” said Lieutenant Dennis Joy, Sacramento Police Department. (more…)

Paramedics work on gunshot victim in early morning shooting Saturday.

Sacramento, CA | Detectives are looking for answers in the wake of  an early morning Del Paso Heights homicide.

At approximately 3:15 a.m. Saturday morning, Sacramento Police Officers were called to the 2500 block of Traction Avenue for a report of a subject that had been shot. According to Sacramento Police, when they arrived they found a 26 year-old-man down on the ground with a wound to the upper chest. (more…)

Officers apprehend suspects in GameStop gunpoint robbery

Sacramento, CA | A Sacramento GameStop was robbed twice in a week. May be related to other area robberies.

Thursday morning Sacramento Police Officers were alerted to a robbery at gunpoint in progress at the GameStop on Northgate Blvd.

Two suspects were apprehended nearby matching the description. (more…)

Oak Park CA | Several subjects caught in the act at McClatchy Park, more drugs and a gun off the streets.

Uniformed officers detained several subjects at McClatchy Park Wednesday afternoon according to Sgt. Andrew Pettit, SacPD. As officers were patrolling the area, they witnessed an apparent drug deal in progress and one person dropping a gun. (more…)
