Deputies investigate drive-by shooting incident
North Highlands, Sacramento, CA | Deputies investigate drive-by shooting in northern Sacramento neighborhood.
Early Wednesday morning, 10 gunshots rang out in the area of Rosario and El Oro Streets. A house and 3 cars were shot at which woke up the neighborhood. No injuries occurred. The Sheriff’s Department was on scene investigating for several hours.
Second taxi carjacked at gunpoint in two days
Sacramento, CA | Another cab carjacked, the second in two days for Sacramento.
A Yellow Cab taxi cab was car jacked at gun point early Saturday morning at the Arco gas station at the corner of 16th Street and W Street.
The cab was located a short time later, unoccupied, at McClatchy Way and Seavey Circle. The suspect remains at large. Read more »
Armed subject attacked officer when officer attempted contact with him
Sacramento, CA | An armed subject with a gun attacked a police officer at Westfield Downtown Plaza.
Per the Sacramento Police Department, an officer on duty at the Westfield Mall Downtown Plaza observed a subject with a marijuana cigarette behind his ear Friday evening near the food court. When the officer attempted to stop the subject, the subject attacked the officer using tables and chairs. Read more »

The Sacramento Police Department responded to a Domestic Violence call at R St and 24th St in the Midtown area around 10PM Monday evening.

Marijuana distributor busted in Oak Park
Sacramento, CA | Officers observe two subjects in Oak Park vacant home packaging marijuana for distribution.

South Sacramento, CA | South Sacramento man allegedly shot while out for a jog by his neighbor.
Per Sgt. Norm Leong, Sacramento Police Department, the victim was out for a jog around the neighborhood when the alleged suspect came out from his home and fired a weapon striking the victim in the hip. Leong indicated that there was an ongoing feud between the neighbors. Read more »
Sacramento, CA, Police call takers received confusing information about a subject with a gun in the AMPM.
[UNCONFIRMED] Sunday evening police call takers received reports of a person waving a gun around at the AMPM on J Street and 29th Street. According to radio communications from dispatchers, the reports coming in were confusing and conflicting. When officers arrived they began to take one subject into custody. The subject resisted initially but was taken into custody without incident [observed]

Sacramento, CA | The victim of a DelPaso Heights shooting declared dead at the hospital early Monday morning.
A shooting occurred at the apartments in the 2500 block of Traction Ave early Monday morning. The victim of the shooting was transported to the hospital where he was then declared dead. Per SacPD’s (A) Lt. Norm Leong, the motive of the homicide is unknown however there were many witnesses.
Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators arrived to interview witnesses and collect evidence.

Sacramento, CA | Mid morning Thursday Sacramento Police were called to the Laguna Creek area for a shooting. When they arrived they found one deceased and one in critical condition from gunshot wounds.
Sacramento Police say that one male in his 50′s is dead and a woman in her 40′s is seriously injured, both from gunshots wounds. At this point the motive for the shooting is unknown and unknown who the shooter was per Sacramento Police spokesperson, Laura Peck. Read more »
