SacPD officers make a felony stop in OakPark of a vehicle matching the description of a wanted vehicle.

Officer Michelle Lazark, SacPD and backup officer question sword carrying traveler at Amtrak station

From random pellet gun shootings to flaming vehicle crashes and stabbing homicides, Sacramento ran the gamut of  incidents Monday.

The mid-morning activity began with a report of a man with a sword at the Amtrak station downtown and early reports of the arrest of a murder suspect in a south area stabbing incident.

In the afternoon a four car collision on Business 80 at Exposition resulted in a fiery blaze and one person injured.

A man in his 30s was killed during an early morning gunfight in the parking lot next to the ampm gas station at the intersection of 28th and J Streets in Midtown, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

Police investigate the scene of a three car accident involving an alleged DUI subject where an innocent pedestrian was killed.

Roseville, CA | Minding his own business, out for a walk, a Roseville pedestrian is killed by an alleged intoxicated and reckless driver.

Roseville police responded to a call of a reckless driver around 8 pm Tuesday evening, according to Roseville Police Department.

Paramedics work on gunshot victim in early morning shooting Saturday.

Sacramento, CA | Detectives are looking for answers in the wake of  an early morning Del Paso Heights homicide.

At approximately 3:15 a.m. Saturday morning, Sacramento Police Officers were called to the 2500 block of Traction Avenue for a report of a subject that had been shot. According to Sacramento Police, when they arrived they found a 26 year-old-man down on the ground with a wound to the upper chest. Read more »
